DISCOVERY FLIGHTS OFFERED!

Founded in 1954, the Travis Aero Club has provided flight training and aircraft rentals for the members of Team Travis for over 55 years. We are the first US Air Force flying club to utilize a fleet of Piper Aircraft equipped with glass cockpit technology from Avidyne. 

Situated in Rio Vista, California, just outside the bustling airspace of San Francisco, is a perfect place for starting your aviation career. Our rates are very competitive with other facilities in the local area, and our highly trained instructors will make sure that you get the most out of your training.

Currently we offer training for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot. We offer Private Pilot Ground School two to three times a year, and Discovery Flights all year long.

Kids ages 9 through 15  can enjoy spending the day with fellow aviators and learn about flying! Event takes place on June 16th from 10am to 3pm. Each young aviator will learn how airplanes fly, safety of flight, participate in an aerodynamics contest, and go up for a 20 minute flight with a flight instructor in an Aero Club aircraft!  Cost is $59 per child and  space is limited.
